Kristin Fisher will join CNN in 2021. The reporter will serve as the Space and Defense Correspondent. In this role, Fisher will cover everything including NASA's new Space Force to commercial space business and the emergence of space tourism. Kristin's parents were each NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space and has now employed as a White House reporter for FOX News, covering Trump and Biden Administrations in space matters. While there she also covered two impeachment trials for the president as well as the 2020 presidential campaign and two administration's efforts to contain the coronavirus pandemic. Kristin travelled extensively, including both the vice president and president. The reporter even took a top-secret trip to Afghanistan alongside Donald Trump. Before joining the network in 2015, Kristin spent nearly a decade working her way up in local TV news stations which included Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she was awarded one Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the city's CBS affiliate. Kristin used her experience in front of the camera to launch Field Mouse Films. The company specialized in producing documentary-style films. It was also a favourite of corporate clients like Uber, Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Journalism at Boston University. She currently lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband and their three year old daughter.
